Most of us hate talking about budgets but you need to bear with me for just a moment if you’re wanting to get a piece of your potential sponsors budget…
85% of corporations are on a calendar year in terms of their budget (meaning it begins in January and ends in December), so the earlier you get to them in the year about your awesome sponsorship opportunity, the less likely you are to be told all of the budget has been allocated or spent on other things (perhaps your competitor that got to them first).
Stop thinking. Stop waiting. Start doing.
